I’m Jeanni. I’m a library assistant in small town Missouri. As an undergrad I studied history and anthropology at American University in Washington DC. I’m fascinated by what makes people what they are and the stories they tell. I believe in being widely and diversely educated, staying informed, and helping others.
When I was three I turned to my parents at a museum and said “I want to be a paleontologist when I grow up.” I’ve never completely gotten over that.
Besides this (mostly inactive) blog, I also have a (much more active) YouTube channel where I make videos about history, anthropology, books, and life.
About the Blog
My blog covers all of my interests, from ancient history and modern education, to vegetarian cooking and comparative religions. The categories in the sidebar will help you find just what you’re looking for.
Why Jeanni (Out of the Bottle)? For years I fought the genie image, but I’ve decided to embrace it. And because phenomenal cosmic power shouldn’t come with an itty-bitty living space.
